A selection of jobs we have finished for our neighbours.
Margaret had an old concrete slab that was cracking and sloping toward the house. She wanted a proper timber deck where the grandkids could play. We built her a new merbau deck with a pergola over the back door. The job took four days and we cleaned up every afternoon before we left.
The old slab had to come out first. We broke it up, carted it away, and checked the drainage so water would run away from the house instead of toward it.
The frame went in on treated pine bearers with galvanised fixings, then merbau boards screwed and plugged for a clean face. The pergola ties into the existing eave so it reads as part of the house, not an add-on.
Four days on site, swept down every afternoon. Margaret had the grandkids out there the following weekend.
